I recently joined Mike Rust's group at UChicago as a postdoctoral researcher. I am excited to study circadian rhythms in cyanobacteria.
I completed my PhD with Gürol Süel at UCSD where I studied how communities of bacteria (biofilms) organize themselves and how community members escape. We discovered ways that bacteria behave collectively using the same mechanisms as eukaryotic organisms.
