Hello!

I'm a postdoctoral researcher with Mike Rust at the University of Chicago. I completed my PhD with Gürol Süel at the University of California San Diego.

How do bacteria work together and make decisions? How does nature solve biological problems? What are fundamental rules that govern biology? To try and answer some of these fun questions, I currently use time-lapse microscopy to investigate bacterial development.

Outside of the lab, I enjoy fiction, tennis, crochet, and mahjong (even though I lose quite often).
